Blue Blood

His once blue-blooded veins now flow with vodka,

He walks down the roadside,

Only seeing lovers entwined,

Fingers, thumbs,

Interwoven with an ivy vine,

Street lamps pulsating revivifying electricity,

Reviving lost memories of brighter times,

Seeds of despair and regret,

Blooming in the cage of his mind.

Stone Dry Plains

All we are.

Stone dry plains.

All we could be,

Never to be.

Sitting.

Crouching.

Standing.

Slouching.

Slipping.

Falling away.

Lost hearts, Last Loves

Lost eyes.

Never to see you with.

Lost soul.

Never to feel you with.

Lost love.

Last love.

We try to fill the voids with inadequate substitutes.

Our solutions remain never resolute.

A million transparent fish in the sea.

A million lonely lost souls farthest away from it.

Lost hearts.
